29 “I now free you and exempt all the Jews from payments of tribute, from the tax on salt, and from the crown levies.[a] 30 From this day henceforth, I also renounce the third of the grain harvest and the half of the fruit harvest to which I am entitled. From this day and for all time I will not collect them from the land of Judah or from the three districts annexed to it from Samaria. 31 Jerusalem and its surroundings, its tithes and its revenues, shall be sacred and free from tax.
